The Core Zero Balancing Program
This program consists of two four-day workshops: Zero Balancing I and Zero Balancing II. The essential practices, principles and protocols that define Zero Balancing are presented here. ZB I and ZB II are separated by a period of time allowing the student to perform ZB sessions prior to ZB II.
Zero Balancing I
This is the first course of the Core Zero Balancing curriculum and introduces the intellectual and practical framework of the art and science of Zero Balancing. Core Zero Balancing teaches students to work with body structure and body energy along with a unique approach to skilled touch called Interface Touch. Students learn a 30 to 40-minute Zero Balancing protocol that allow beginners to offer Zero Balancing sessions to healthy individuals in keeping with their skills, expertise, and scope of practice.
Zero Balancing II
In Zero Balancing II, the second half of the 50-hour Core Zero Balancing foundation program, students review material from ZB I, learn new fulcrums and expand their understanding of how and why Zero Balancing is so effective.

Upon completion of the Core ZB program, students will have an in-depth working knowledge of the Zero Balancing protocol.
Advanced Courses
Core Zero Balancing methods are reinforced while adding more dimension, skill, and subtlety to the practice. The focus for each program may include: working with specific populations, addressing different areas of the body, or exploring leading-edge energy theories.
Special Programs
These include introductory presentations, review days, regional and national conferences and other programs.
The ZB Certification Program
Designed to turn ZB students into skilled ZB practitioners, the ZB professional Certification Program includes 100 course hours: Core Zero Balancing I and II, followed by two advanced certification electives. At the end of your studies, your skills are assessed by written and practical exams. You can also take advantage of optional services to help you succeed: exchange sessions with peers, participate in study groups, seek touch feedback tutorials, and take advantage of one-on-one mentoring. Carla Van Arnam is approved by the Zero Balancing Health Association to teach the foundation courses that lead to certification.
